After investing a large amount of time (and money) pursuing a career in psychology, Emily discovered the world of branding and marketing and decided to shift careers. After all, her expertise in human behavior, data analysis, and problem solving roll over nicely into these fields!
A great deal of experiences occurred which resulted in Emily finally settling in Denver after moving across the country from Athens/Atlanta. Luckily, she attended a digital marketing workshop and found out how awesome Revenue River is! The pursuit to join agency life officially began by taking an immersive digital marketing course at General Assembly, completing Google and HubSpot certifications, a ton of reading and meetups, and freelancing.
In her free time, Emily is likely hanging out with her dog, Dino, playing her Switch, collecting vinyl and VHS tapes, or drinking the most sour beers the craft brewery scene has to offer.
“Emily’s dedication, talent, and drive are second to none. She brings a solid set of skills, experience, and knowledge of digital marketing which allow her to effortlessly deliver for clients. She is wonderful to work with and has proven herself to be a valuable asset to the Content Strategy team. We are so very lucky to have her (and her dog, Dino!) join the Revenue River team.” – Linda Le
“Emily is a fantastic addition to the Revenue River team. Her background in psychology brings a unique point of view that allows her to craft content marketing strategies that really resonate with our clients’ audiences. Her dog Dino is pretty cool too. We love having them both around the Revenue River office!” – Kelley Wrede
