About Mason

Born and raised just outside of Columbus, Ohio, Mason spent his childhood in a nice, cozy cornfield, making short films with friends and rooting on the Buckeyes. Throughout high school they wrote and produced the morning announcements together, as well as PSA's that aired on TV and radio throughout the Midwest.

Following up on his passions, Mason attended Ohio University in Athens, OH where he studied English Literature and Creative Writing. When he wasn't busy reading or outlining papers, he would work full-time throughout college on various ventures based back in Columbus. He built websites, created artwork for an iOS app, and even helped organize the first year of the city's biggest music festival.

After graduating, Mason moved to Chicago to join the team at Venmo where he would meet his future partner, Alannah. After two years of riding the L and supporting users throughout eCommerce product launches, they decided to move back to Columbus in order to pursue new opportunities at Beam, an employee benefits startup. Here he helped boot up and lead a Revenue Operations team that focused on expanding and optimizing the company tech stack in addition to managing analytics and reporting for the organization.

At Revenue River, Mason works on expanding his knowledge of SaaS product integrations and handling big data in hopes to provide the best insight and support for our clients. Also, the cat's name is Carmela and she sometimes attends meetings.
