Laura traded the Pacific Ocean for the Rocky Mountains in 2018, moving from the quaint coastal town of Half Moon Bay, CA to the Denver Metro Area. She describes her first Colorado winter as "a real-life snow globe" and enjoys the numerous outdoor activities that Colorado offers.
The old TV show Bewitched is what sparked Laura's interest in marketing from an early age. The husband on the show is an Advertising Executive who creates taglines, commercials, and campaigns. It looked like fun! Laura was able to follow through by graduating with a Bachelor's in Marketing and a Graphic Design Minor from Chapman University. She earned Beta Gamma Sigma status, which represents graduating in the top 10% of Chapman's business school and the top 5% of business programs globally. Her time at Chapman was also spent competing on the women's tennis team, which she began playing at age five.
Laura has spent the last six years using both the analytical and artistic sides of her brain to create impactful marketing initiatives. She looks forward to applying her skills in an agency setting and fully embracing the fast-paced creative life.
There will never be a time I turn down the opportunity to check out a new coffee shop. If you're ever thinking "Hmm, I wonder if Laura wants to get a coffee today?" - the answer is yes. Maybe I like coffee spots so much because I used to work as a barista in one. I'll gladly spend hours reading, surfing the web, and drinking the most caramel-y drink possible!
